I grew
up in a small town. (About 3500 people, one stoplight.. typical hicksville.)
Graduated top of my class..blah blah.. blah. The usual, brainy girl that
didn't really date (so i was involved... geesh.) I recently got married,
something NONE of my friends ever thought would happen. (They're mostly
all married WITH kids by now.) If you want to read about my wedding, or
see the pictures, feel free.
Here I am with two of my high school friends:
Then I
came to UM. Defintely different. I lived in Betsy Barbour, which is how
I met all the wonderful ladies I associate myself with today. My last and
best roommate lived next door to me in Barbour. And Liz & Maria? Well
we've been together since the beginning. All of the other gals on my hall
over the years bonded alot, and tended to share even more stories. We learned
alot from each other's good and bad experiences.
Yup, life with the girls is certainly never boring. Just ask any of the "boys" who know us.
Speaking
of boys, I seem to acquire oodles of male friends as well. I suppose you
may want to check out how life with the boys compares!
(These are two different pictures of us wild and crazy girls from the
halls of barbour.)
The girls
from Barbour may not still be together, but the memories will always remain.
I like
to travel, good thing I get 3 weeks vacation huh? My husband and I LOVE
hockey (to the point that it sometimes is the only think we watch on TV!)
And we used to travel to games alot. We did go to toronto for our honeymoon,
and will be in Jamaica in Dec!
I guess that is really all I can think of...
