This card was made from using a standard 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" (folded 8 1/2" x 11" unfolded) white card (I bought them in bulk from Sam's Club).  Once the card was folded, I trimmed 1/4" off two sides (side & bottom) - making the card 8 1/4" x 5 1/4".  I then cut a piece of colored card stock 8 1/2" by 5 1/2" to use as a "back" for the card.  In this instance I used blue paper as the back (the actual card is secured to the colored back, so the inside is still white).  Prior to putting any of the embellishments on the front, I stamped mini butterflies (from the stamp set from Doubleday book club) - I used 2 colors of purple, and 2 colors of blue (color box cat's eye inkpads).  On the outside - I have secured 3 (1 1/2") Marvy Mega squares punched in blue paper) and 1 (1 3/8") Marvy large square punched in light purple turned to show as a diamond. A foam butterfly (smallest size of 2 sizes - purchased at Michael in bulk).  To make the foamies stick I ran them through a Xyron 150 (mini orange X shaped xyron).  I also used 1 of the 3rd size heart from the same bulk foam pack.  Presently the inside says nothing.
