This
Anniversary/Wedding card was made using a silver 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" greeting
card (I think I bought them at one of the office supply stores).
The dollie (can't spell that) is from the dollar store, the circle is a
Marvy punch (mega or giga circle). The stamp is stampin' up.
I used silver embossing powder to highlight the stamp. I trimmed
it down later to be able to accurately center the dollie/etc. The
inside says ""Friendship often ends in love, but love in friendship never
ends." It could say anything though, I simply printed that directly
on the card using my computer.
This
card (look a little familar Sarah) - I learned how to make at a stampin'
up party. I liked the concept of having all the "pieces" ready, and
did have 12 or so ready before my stamps finally got here. Even the
little "dot" blurb is a stamp. This outside combines 3 color stamps,
2 color pastels (the color of the papers), and glitter for the main dragonfly
wings. The inside can say anything, these ones say "Wishing you much
happiness on this very special day" A stamp I've had for some time.
The card is a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" card trimmed down to 5 1/4" x 4", with colored
card stock cut to 5" 1/2 x 4 1/4" for the background (then the evelopes
still fit you see). The front has layered paper, 4 3/4" x 2", 4 1/2"
x 1 3/4" and lastly, 4 1/4" x 1 1/2".
Another
stampin up stamp (from the same set as the swans). The card is a 5 1/2"
x 4 1/4" card trimmed down to 5" x 3 3/4"", with colored card stock cut
to 5" 1/2 x 4 1/4" for the background (then the evelopes still fit).
The dog is colored with pastels. I made a similar mother's day card,
done the same way, pastels and all, but I forgot to scan it before I mailed
them.
Another
stampin up stamp (from the same set as the dragonfly). The card is a 5
1/2" x 4 1/4" card trimmed down to 5 1/4" x 4"", with colored card stock
cut to 5" 1/2 x 4 1/4" for the background (then the evelopes still fit).
The squares are made with marvy punches, regular square and mega square.
The hair of the baby has glitter on it. The top is a ribbon which
is tacked behind the card (between the cardstock background) and inside
the card as well (The ribbon was purchased at Joann fabrics.)
This
card was made from using a standard 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" white card (I bought
them in bulk from Sam's Club). I trimmed 1/4" off the top and
the side - making the card 8 1/4" x 5 1/4". I then cut a piece of
colored card stock 8 1/2" by 5 1/2" to use as a "back" for the card.
In this instance I used purple paper as the back. The pastel rainbow
ribbon is stuck between the card & the backgound, and glued down inside
the front of the card. The kitty cat is from clear-impressions stamps,
as are the moon & star stamps. The kitty has embossed wings &
halo and glitter on the cloud. The pink squares were cut from a marvy
regular square punch then corner rounded, the other shape is freehand,
then corner rounded.
This
card is the inside of the above card. The baby is from stampin up
(I removed the "for baby" saying). It is done with pastels, then
glitter added to the carriage. The saying is from The scrapbooker's
best friend, and printed using creative keepsakes fonts.
