Now, for those of you that may not know - there are 11 casinos on the island (yes, eleven). Tom & Mom like to gamble. Rich & I went with them the first night - and needless to say they dropped us off back at the room after the first 1 or 2. They got back to the room many hours later - ahead.
We do not have any casino photos to show you - but I can tell you this - we have many decks of cards to show for it. They just look like they are having fun don't they?
After their first night out - we decided it would be fun to collect at least 1 casino chip from each casino. No small feat - believe me. So the quest began. Rich was the "collector" taking a chip from Tom or Mom when they were at a table in the various casinos. Occasionally Mom & I would hit the slots (they were lucky too!) Some times we had to ditch a casino fast - either due to losing streaks, or cigarette smoke - being newly pregnant (okay 12 weeks) the smoke was killing me!
Of coures, Barb & Alex thought we were nuts. Until they learned that quite a few of the casinos give away their used decks of cards for free. We managed to get cards from 4 or 5 casinos. The ones we'd already been to for chips we were not about to go back (unless the winning had been good) just for the possibility of free cards!
