Ok, so maybe it can't quite be classified as Spelunking, but still! Toward the end of our week (I think) we decided to go see the indian markings at Fontain Caves & Nature center.
Nothing like a powerful flash to light up the cave so you can see it better!
It was pretty wild. Some of the "grafitti" in the caves had dates like 1863 - it looks like "old" script too. There was a tour guide there who showed us the markings and gave us a history. It was need - though not many to see.
Outside the main station (I guess it was a museum of sorts) you could tell that Aruba had had alot of rain recently - the cacti were blooming, as this one shows.
These vines growing on the now exposed coral (now the ground on the short) sure look healthy due to the rain as well. Nothing like desolation intermixed with such vibrant colors.
The boys stayed in the car for this wild site - but Mom & I took lots of pictures. Look at the crash!
The aftermath
is even cool looking. I took lots of little mpegs of this stuff!!
On the way
back from the caves we came across a bunch of wild donkeys. We also
so goats - but those aren't on my pictures. Funny creatures though
wandering around as they do!
