Now being in a tropical place means lots of chances for beautiful sunsets.  Mom & I drove to the northern point (that's what they call it) toward the California light house quite a few times to take some sunset photos.

I think we did pretty good, aside from getting their too early and taking pictures of other things like this pelican who was having fun with us swooping and diving in our photos later!!

The waves & rocks make for more intriguing photos.  I took so many it is hard to decide which one(s) to blow up to put on the wall!

My new digital camera has a few interesting features -one of which is "solarize" - I think it looks pretty cool applied to this sunset - what do you think?

Although, as I said - we got there a bit too early so entertained ourselves with other things - like these rocks that the waves seemed to always just crash & roll over.

Or these group of cacti - looking so alone on the shoreline.

We also took some sunset shots from Barb & Alex's room.  They see the sunset every night.  And we are quick to learn it goes down FAST, but it looks awfully cool!!

We had dinner at least one night down with Barb & Alex - they are such good hosts!  Of course, they are the ones who showed us the wonderful timeshare we now own!
