Day 15

    Here is the view from the hill top (remember the picture with Rich standing near it?).  As you can tell by looking at the trees, the house sits very high compared to the back side of the property.  Behind me on the hill there is probably 15 feet then a 20 foot drop to the road way.  The lot goes about to the middle back trees you see, or close.     Here is the view from the top middle basement wall toward the front of the property.  Now you can see the trees behind the excavator, those are right at the edge before it drops down to the road.     This is the walkout, where the subgarage is.  As you can see, there is an I-Beam at the entrance for support.  We are going to be putting the ceiling slabs on Friday the 29th, which should be very exciting!  If you look closely inside the subgarage, you can see a black pipe coming in at the back bottom corner.  That is our water!  We plan to put a water storage tank in this room, easier access if we need to do something to it later!     Here is the view from the spot I normally take a 'site' photo from.  In the fore-front of the picture you can see a white pipe, with some gray wire around it.  That is where the well is.  The gray wire is the electrical.  The electric is already run to the house with the pipe to be hooked up, but the excess is for later use to run down the drive to put in an electric gate.  With a road that busy, its a good idea for the future.  Also, in the last week we've had two cars break down and pull into the driveway.  Convienent for them, but not good for us once we get the house done!     This is the North wall of the house.  I just wanted to show the tar and tiling that dad has done this week.  He just completed the tarring today!     If you haven't looked at the plans... go here:  PLANS Or see another day's activities: Day One - May 12 Day Two - May 13 Day Three - May 14 Day Four - May 15 Day Five - May 16 Day Six - May 17 - NOTHING (no work done) Day Seven - May 18 - NO PHOTOS Day Eight - May 19 Day Nine - May 20 Day Ten - May 21 Day Eleven - May 22 Day Twelve - May 23 (May 24-25th Vacation - days won't count) Day Thirteen - May 26th -& Day Fourteen - May 27th NO PHOTOS Day Fifteen - May 28th Day Sixteen - May 29th Day Seventeen - May 30th Day Eighteen - May 31st Day Nineteen - June 1st Day Twenty - June 2nd Day Twenty One - June 3rd Day Twenty Two - June 4th Day Twenty Three - June 5th   We've begun buying tile and have our carpet picked out:  INTERIOR
