Day 39

Monday, June 22nd

  Today the rest of the upstairs windows got put in, and around the jacuzzi upstairs was wallboard and ready for the plumber & electician to get it all hooked up.   This is the view head on into the basement bath, we changed it a bit so that bath is bigger and the entrance to that back storage room is through my darkroom at the end of the stairs.  If I ever have time I'll update the plans as well, but don't hold your breath.     Here's the view standing along the center of the north wall looking west in the basement.     Here is the view from that same spot only looking South along the center dividing wall toward the subgarge.     Here is the view from the subgarage to that spot I was standing at previously.  Today mom and dad put up the rest of the walls and began to prep for the concret tomorrow.     This is dad cutting the pipe a bit for the clean out portion that the inspector wanted when he came by the first time.  After he was done here we helped him grade out the patio area and put up the forms.  We left there around 9:00 P.M., early for us, because Dad decided they'd better get home and set the forms for the driveway apron tomorrow morning.   Concrete is coming at 9 AM, concrete guys will be there probably before 8 knowing them.  The plumber and electrician are both coming tomorrow to hopefully get closer to finished with the interior wall work.  The spa guy is FINALLY coming out to install the inline heater.  That snaffu is still causing me headaches, although i moved a step up today and talked to the president of the companys secretary, she got ACTION taken.  Hopefully that will continue!   Oh, I also went to order the carpet today, order should be in tomorrow afternoon!  Cool eh?    Day One - May 12 Day Two - May 13 Day Three - May 14 Day Four - May 15 Day Five - May 16 Day Six - May 17 - NOTHING (no work done) Day Seven - May 18 - NO PHOTOS Day Eight - May 19 Day Nine - May 20 Day Ten - May 21 Day Eleven - May 22 Day Twelve - May 23 (May 24-25th Vacation - days won't count) Day Thirteen - May 26th -& Day Fourteen - May 27th NO PHOTOS Day Fifteen - May 28th Day Sixteen - May 29th Day Seventeen - May 30th Day Eighteen - May 31st Day Nineteen - June 1st Day Twenty - June 2nd Day Twenty One - June 3rd Day Twenty Two - June 4th Day Twenty Three - June 5th Day Twenty Four - June 6th Day Twenty Five - June 7th Day Twenty Six - June 8th Day Twenty Seven - June 9th Day Twenty Eight - June 10th Day Twenty Nine - June 11th - News/No Photos Day Thirty - June 12th - CONSUMER ALERT Day Thirty One - June 13th Day Thirty Two - June 14th Day Thirty Three thru Thirty Five - June 15th to June 17th Day Thirty Six & Day Thirty Seven -June 18th & 19th Day Thirty Eight - June 20th Day Thirty Nine - June 22nd   We've begun buying tile and have our carpet picked out:  INTERIOR   If you haven't looked at the plans... go here:  PLANS
